Amir Stern is a professional photographer from Israel, a freelance underwater and nature photographer specializing in images of marine life and the marine environment. Amir Diving Since 1999,In 2004 after he finished his Norm. Trimix course , he became diving supervisor in one of the biggest fish farm in israel. in 2006 after hundreds of \\\"work dives\\\" he decided to step away from the deep technical dive and turn into photography, in that time amir was used to dive 2-3 dives every day so he added his new underwater camera to his dives, after 6 month Amir won his first underwater photography competition - Sandisk red-sea 2006. In Nov. 2011 Amir Opened the first professional underwater photography seminars in israel, Seminars for underwater photographer that want to know how to Be a Professional .

DivePhotoGuide and Wetpixel are proud to announce the winners of the 2020 DEEP Indonesia international underwater photography competition. The competition is part of a unique series of underwater imaging events and has become one of the biggest and most prestigious in the world. Everyone from novice to professionals compete annually in what has become the “Super Bowl” of international underwater imagery events, which combined with the DPG/Wetpixel Masters Underwater Imaging Competition, awarded over $100,000 of world-class prizes.

The winners of the 2020 DEEP Indonesia imaging competition have been announced! With more than $45,000 in prizes, this year’s contest attracted thousands of entries in several themed categories. The Best of Show was awarded to Enrico Somogyi for a creative capture of a golden jellyfish in Palau.
